In December of 2007, we hosted the baby animals from the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve. Our mission was to take photos of children of all ages for a $5 donation to the Shop with a Cop Program of the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office. It was such a success, and on such a dreary day, that we decided we'd have a Christmas in July celebration to give the program a jumpstart on fundraising this year.
