You’re invited to a very special party, December 21, 2008! We’re excited to announce that Wolf Mountain Vineyards will be joining us at Hummingbird Lane. Come and enjoy appetizers and good cheer, and join in the festivities!

Dahlonega merchants join together to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of the peace sign AND the 'Peace on Earth' spirit of the Christmas Season that the peace sign was birthed from!

Wear your favorite peace sign and your merriest holiday clothing and come join in the celebration designed to help the merchants of Dahlonega meet the needs of the less fortunate in the Dahlonega/Lumpkin County community. Enjoy appetizers, deserts, fellowship from 5 to 7 pm, and finish up with caroling around the Square! We will be singing “Let there be Peace on Earth” at 7:00 p.m. on the Square, finishing with “Silent Night.”

Appetizers will be served on the North side of the Public Square and Deserts on the South side, with the following shops, galleries, tasting rooms, and restaurants participating: The Crimson Moon Cafe (with appetizers upstairs in our brand new Half Moon Saloon); Hummingbird Lane (where you should come first to bring your canned goods); Blue Gallery; Naturally Georgia Tasting Room; Brad Walker Pottery, Cranberry Corners, Froghollow Photography; Dahlonega Tasting Room; Kryder Gallery; Picnic Cafe; Upstairs Downstairs; and Paul Thomas Chocolates!
