The Sweethearts of Hummingbird Lane Art Gallery, Todd and Amy Strickland, are excited to share their love of art with you in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Hummingbird Lane Art Gallery of Dahlonega, GA invites you to a reception for the February show titled “Sweethearts”. February 7, from 5-7 p.m. Hummingbird Lane joins other galleries in the area for Dahlonega After Dark and will be featuring the works of Todd Strickland, a self taught artist from Dawsonville, GA and owner of the gallery. Todd has been painting for three years, and has acquired quite a following for a series known as “The Booby Angels.” One of the paintings on display will be his painting “Monday and Tuesday,” depicting his vision of his wife’s days off. His contemporary style, his love of color and his subject matter makes Todd’s paintings truly endearing. All are original works, and will be displayed through the month of February. We have gathered a few of his earlier works from their owners, and have a new series that is currently on display for the first time.

Naturally Georgia, tasting room for Tiger Mountain Vineyards in North Georgia, will be joining in the celebration and will be providing complimentary wine for the occasion. Just purchase an unglazed wine cup and enjoy a free glass of wine! In addition, you’ll enjoy the collection of over 200 artists, and perhaps a few surprises thrown into the evening!
