Join us as Dahlonega Celebrates Photography
Follow
the "trail" from one location to another, savoring the photography,
sampling the food, and meeting the artists who have planned a month
long celebration of North Georgia Photographers.
Seven exciting locations have banded together
in North Georgia to present a united effort intended to showcase an
eclectic mix of photography from our finest professional photographers
to our newest entrants into the field of photography. Events are posted
by date, but an overview of activities are listed below.

Reception 2-4 p.m. Opening receptions for Love vs. Fear exhibit, a
juried contemporary themed show exploring the moments where love and
fear meet - in ourselves, our relationships, and on the many stages
where we act out our lives. Dahlonega Square
Hummingbird
Lane Art Gallery, Reception
1-3 p.m. Jack Anthony will be presenting on stage with a contrasting
display of black and white photographs of waterfalls from his book,
Waterfalls of North Georgia, and color photography of the green and
golden yellow wheat and canola field of Southeastern Washington State.
Gallery open open 10-6 daily. Dahlonega Square
Dawson and Lumpkin County Libraries Photo Op!
Photographers will be at the libraries, giving children a chance to
bring their parents in and pose them for portraits, to be displayed
throughout the month of October at the respective libraries.
