Hummingbird Lane is proud to be announcing the Billy Roper Art Auction for N.G.C.S.U.'s Appalachian Studies 'PICK N' BOW' program!

The silent auction starts @ 10 am Dec 17th at Humming Bird Lane Art Gallery, on the square in Dahlonega, and runs through 6 pm on Dec. 27th, with ‘Buy Now’ prices available through 5 pm on Dec. 24th. A reception honoring Billy Roper and the Pick ‘N Bow program will be held on Sunday, Dec. 20th, from 2 to 5 pm at Humming Bird Lane Art Gallery, along with the presentation of the “A TON of Food” Community Art Project to the Community Helping Place at 4 pm by Humming Bird Lane Art Gallery, and free model photos with Santa by Froghollow Photography. Reception appetizers and beverages will be provided by The Crimson Moon Café, and we hope to have Billy Roper himself present at the reception! Following the auction, there will be a Peace On Earth Celebration on the square, with caroling, from 6 to 7 pm, followed by a Winter Solstice Holiday Show by The Solstice Sisters at The Crimson Moon Café at 7:30 pm.

Auction winners will be called on Dec. 28th, with payment due by noon on Dec. 28th and delivery of a check to Pick N Bow board members by Humming Bird Lane Art Gallery at 5 pm on Dec. 28th. A number of additional offerings of Billy Roper’s art will be available with pictures, prices, and ‘on line’ bids will available at www.HUMMINGBIRDLANEARTGALLERY.com .
