The Chestatee Wildlife Preserve Animals and Volunteers made a huge impact on the Square Friday, July 4, 2008. We love to partner up with this wonderful organization and help raise funds for the Shop with a Cop program.

This year, we have a record number of children we're trying to help, so we started our fundraising efforts early, and added the 4th of July to our schedule.

CW Wathen of the Wildlife Preserve and Lloyd Brewer of the Sheriff's Department, and Amy organized the animals and the volunteers to come to the Square and join in the festivities planned for the 4th.

All told, we raised enough money in one day to help eight more children of Lumpkin County. While it was a long day for everyone involved, the crowd loved spending time with these beautiful animals.
