The 2010 Mountain Flower Art Festival is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, May 15 & 16, 2010 from 10am - 5pm, and is inviting artists to submit applications for consideration to be included in the Mountain Flower Art Festival, May 15 & 16, 2010.
When the view is your paycheck.... This morning I had the distinct pleasure of watching the wind. It was amazing. There is a field by our house with trees surrounding it, and the trees follow right into our back yard. I was sitting on our porch, and while the birds fed from their feeder, I sat in silence.
Fall is finally here! It's been an amazing year, and so much has changed. The most common comment we're hearing these days is "Wow, you've moved a few things!" and we sure have! We've added artists' studios, classes, workshops, and have so much more planned, starting this weekend!
Hummingbird Lane Art Gallery is proud to introduce you to our newest addition to the gallery: Leah Ensminger. Leah earned her BA at CA State University of Fresno, CA with an emphasis in sculpture and painting. She moved to Dahlonega 3 years ago with the love of her life, Shawn. Leah is joining us at the gallery and is going to be teaching classes and organizing other artists interested in teaching at "Hummingbird University."
Paint Dancing events are created so you can have fun openly expressing yourself two different mediums – AT ONCE!

Join us July 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. when Judith Reagan of Dahlonega, Georgia, shares her talents with us by teaching a class on miniature basket weaving. These tiny little baskets made of fiber are simply delightful and will be a great gift idea for the holidays. Judith is a wonderful fiber artist. Class space is limited. $25
Well, here we are almost to May, 2009, and I realize that you haven’t heard from me in months, and I’m sorry! It’s been an eventful year so far, and I hope this letter finds you all enjoying 2009 to its fullest!
